They rasp because the air is getting out b4 the tailpipe. As long as it's all tight = no rasping.

I'm sorry, I don't understand this reply. The air is getting out before the tailpipe?

I dont think they rasp cos the exhaust is blowing. Removing the cat tends to make cars rasp.

Mine doesn't. No cat here. But it has pulled away (de-cat to cantre section) and rasped. But it back together, lots of exhaust paste. Sounds sweet

Monster, apart from the inlet and the colour of our cars. Everything looks the same. So just try it. Exhaust paste all the connections.

As long as your BB hasn't been welded on, should be all ok

Erm I have one connection

My exhaust is custom made and is welded to the de-cat and is one straight pipe all the way to the backbox (there isn't even a break above the rear beam where it connects to the backbox pipe)

Do'h.

Humor me. Check the weld.

I do still have the centre silencer. But will that stop it rasping?

One would assume so, yes. Think about it, a 1.2 is going to have a smaller bore than a 1.6. Unless they're all the same, but you get supplied reducers.

"To fit the following: Vauxhall Corsa B 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, GSi & Tigra A 1.4, 1.6"

I know the 1.0 is smaller. So they must supply you with something.

Yeah mine didnt rasp with a silenced cat only developed with a straight through pipe.

BTW you shouldnt need exhaust paste on a well designed and fitted system.

It's on for good measure.

About every 2-3 weeks i have to put my exhaust back together. Think it's either engine moving too much on aceleration or de-cat isn't long enough.
