is there different t-cuts for different colours?

and what would people suggest to get for a good one to use on white. as in companys and grades of the cut etc

nope its used in body shops.. tbh id stick to tcut G3 needs a lot of work and some experience.. its also hard to do by hand ull need a machine polisher for the best result

G3 isn't for paint restoration. You should use 3M FinesseIt for brining paint back to it's former glory.

If you are going to do it properly you need a machine polisher with a soft start motor. A few different heads for the machine to polish with and some water in a spray bottle. You need to make sure the heads on the machine are always wet so they don't get hot. You need to keep the speed of the polisher down quite low so you can control it and you need to be careful you don't burn through all the paint...

r right i thought thats what the wet and dry was for then the G3 removes the top layer of clear coat to restore the shine and remove imprefections. silly me

iv got a RAC polish/buffer out of argos i havent used it yet,looking forward to trying it tho wen it get warmer,whats the best stuff to use with a buffer machine any way,whats the autoglym polish like ????

You need a pretty powerfull polisher to do a good job. The one I borrow now and then is a Sealey job that has a soft starting motor and variable speeds. Think it costs about £120.

I think the cheaper 12v ones like Meguairs make that you buy in Halfords are mainly for buffing waxes up to shine rather than restoration.

something about 1200rpm is all a beginner needs anything faster and you risk burning the paint much easier

I find electrical buffers actually ruin your paint, someone I know used on on his brand new Mondeo and totally fcuked the paintwork and covered it in swirls
