Apparently they work by Q1 , Q2 system. I'm guessin this mean yearly quarter, but I'm not sure.
If so when is the next Q?

when they release new processors, old models are usually reduced, though if you're after a bargin look on ebay and forums like overclockers.co.uk/avforums etc

yea my point it you could wait forever for the newer chips to come down.
You dont always need the quickest CPU/DUal core cpu etc
plenty of decent bargains about

Yup I agree (wow) Now you can spend £150 and you will get a base system that will do what 50%+ of people out there need it to do.
Not long ago it used to be £500 got you a basic computer but £1000 for something that could really do anything.

NOT worth it at all at the minute until software is around that makes use of it.

i bet 50% of Dual core owners dont even use its capabilities let alone quad core.
Note - AMDs quad core will be the one to watch for as it will be a true quad core rather than 2 dual core cpus like Intels Quad.
Will also have bigger L2 cache
