Bro in law picked his up his today,brand new in red..
have to say it's stunning...Alot better then standard gti...Fully colourcoded, bigger front grill, edition 30 badges on outside and interior..18" different wheels etc.Looks the part...
and 230bhp

I want one...

Nice car - too much money IMO.

£23k is over Audi A3 S line 2.0T money, or very near Quattro money.. although the 2.0t in the Audi has 30 brake less, but virtually the same 0-60 time according to their site

Different though, and probably hold it's value well .

was from main dealer....

He looked at Audi s-lines etc....but they were more than the golf...

To put it in context, a 2.0 TDI A3 S-Line is £3k more than a GTI

whats the standard price for a gti?

yeah think thats one of the audis he looked at but prefered the gti E30..

Aye the E30 is lovely... my GTI was £25k but had lots of extras, std now is £20.5k IIRC

They are nice. But a normal GTi with the 18" diamond cut 5 spokes looks better!

you think, I deffo prefer this E30 in red with it fully colour coded etc..When on the normal GTI it has the black bits front and back etc...

Lots of subtle changes on it....

If you look at the headlights through the glass there is a wee VW symbol before the bulb, looks really good...Don't know who would ever see it though...
