That top team would take some beating, only thing i'd change would be Adriano, i'd take an on form Henry, Drogba or Van Nistelrooy before him.

Only based on current form though, Henry is injured, Eto's cannot get his knee out of his mind and Adriano is a pisshead.

I love how Mascherano has went from being a West Ham reserve into everyone's world first 11 based on current form when his current form amasses to about 5 games

TBH I think Jizinho has a fair amount of knowledge on him from when he played in Brazil. As for me...Im just biased...but he has been great for us since he started playing.

England have 'good' defenders not great, the English public and football fans have been led to believe they are world beaters of late, and now they aren't getting the results that are expected the media especially are getting on their backs when really they are just an average national side, the England team is NOT full of world class internationals, I can only name 2, Gerrard and Hargreaves.
You might say "why not Rooney?" well Rooney's performances depend on how his first 5 minutes go, he's a confidence player, he's good but he's not a machine.

I know alot about Javier Mascherano, not alot of Premiership fans know alot of him, but I have said all along, he's the best anchorman on the planet, very brainy player and seems to steal a few yards just with his anticipation.
