hi im going to be lowering my car -40mm all round but i cant decide what make to get. can any one suggest any thats good quality and long lasting

spax are good mate. or einbach if u have the money. mines been lowered 35 all round and looks abit high at the back with the cesaros on. id think bout lowerin it more at the back to keep it level

yeah a freind said spax to me today,he had them on his saxo and said they were good quality i cant seem to find any eibach -40mm prings anywhere

Spax are decent enough. Eibach only do 30mm all round or 50mm front 25mm rear

It should sit the same. There won't be much different. IMO, if you go lower than 40, your shooting yourself in the foot. Handling gets a bit pants.

It rides nice too. Thats on Spax adjustable dampers with spax springs. Not too tough, not too soft.

will mine still sit close to yours with just the -40mm springs and with mine been 195/45/15 wheels

The wheels and arch will have a bit more gap.

-40mm on gmax springs with standard shocks.

15'' wheels with 195/45 tyres.

make sure you only want to go - 40 as alot of people do this and then opt for the -60 for that extra low look

eibach are ideal for handeling as i feel they where better on my car than the fk coilovers i now have

i would stay away from PI springs

if you want -40 spax springs are very good for the money

- 60 jamex seem like a good option

ye i got 40mm then went for 60mm straight away. for me 40mm looks like uv tred to lower it but failed.

-40mm makes a difference compared to nothing. it's for people who are sensible

Well, I contacted my insurance company asking if a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm will lower my insurance, and they said no so I doubt they'll allow me to lower my car.

just dont tell them, ure car has suspension on as standard and nothings really being changed...cant see any probably...ure third party fire and theft also im guessin

im in same boat though thinking of 60mm or fk coilovers...but everyone says everythings better than other stuff and everythings crap
