How much would it be to fit a C20XE and turbo it at a reputable garage if I bought the engine, electrics and transmission? I couldn't possibly afford the insurance at the moment but I was just curious for the future.

My cars a 1995 Corsa B BTW.

do you mean an c20LET or an xe with low comp pistons and a turbo?

personally unless your a competant mechanic or have all the bits allready the cheaper and easier option would be an let out the box

a garage will probably charge a fortune tbh get lee mitchell to do it

I phoned and got a quote there for dropping a red top into a corsa. For everything( clutch, gearbox, brakes, fitting, engine) it was only 1250

This boy specialises in vauxhalls. He has a nova in rear wheel drive which he did himself and my mate knows of sum work hes done. Apparantly he is quite messy but does a good job. Why is that cheap? How much would you expect to pay

I thought it would be more towards the 2 grand mark with everything included. I don't think I'd travel all the way to Belfast to have it done though lol.
Anyone know of any garages in the Yorkshire region that'll undertake the work?

Yeah, I know I won't be able to do it for 2/3 years or my premium would be like 5 grand lol. I might just by a Corsa that's already been converted in a few years. That'd probably be the most sensible (and easiest) option.
