I know many of the 1.4 16v Corsa's, both B and early C had a sqaureish exhaust end.
Is this square all the way to the silencer, or just a 'trim' as such.
Insurance company won't insure a sports back box on my car and don't want a cheapy chrome exhaust trim from Halfords but want rid of the pea shooter.
So one of these 1.4 exhaust ends would look ok, because it is factory standard, even though my car is a 1.4 - i.e. hopefully won't look cheap and tacky.
Should I be able to get one of these from Vauxhall, or does anyone have one spare, or are they a complete part of the rear silencer?
Cheers

Its a square tip, but it won't fit your 1.0 without a bit of work as the 1.0 bore is smaller than all the others.

When you say work, what do you mean? Cutting and welding?
Making it not worth while doing?

Errrm yeah something like that unless you can get an adaptor that you can fit to your centre box to make the bore to the back box bigger. I'd say not worth doing.

No, I don't mean the whole back box, I just mean the sqaure tip

Its not a tip though, its the back box. Just like yours is round on the end, they have a square end.

Ahhh, when I saw you said 'Its a tip' I thought you meant it was removable.
Bang goes that idea.

just stick one on and don't tell them.
if worst comes to worst and you have a crash with it on, just jank it off and give it to someone else to take away

lol except last time I had a crash, the recovery truck was there within the hour, which took me straight to repair centre
And now they know I've enquired, they'll come down on me harder if I have one fitted.

I saw a Corsa with this sqaure exhaust. The sqaure bit is just the end BUT the actual round exhaust bore size is quite big - too big for 1.0 and 1.2!
