It begs the question of "why do they have to call it the Civic Type R R". Why not just rebadge the current Civic Type R as a VTI or whatever, and then have the above one as a proper Civic Type R

. Its all very well trying to cater for the masses, but the whole point of the Type R Hondas is that they were light and not kitted out to the extreme, and they're just getting bigger and heavier, and so getting away from the whole point of the Type R.

roof scoop looks like a stuck on halfords part and sunstrip is huge.

I like that alot more than the normal one, the bonnet and boot pins r a bit poo but it looks alot more puposeful.

Gearbox looks like a monster

they've done it properely. not sure on steering not giving any feedback at low speeds that'd be weird

iv yet to see a decent road/track car since the clio 182 trophy

manufacturers dont seem to like making small lightweight cars with big engines in anymore

Its the consumers fault, buyers are demanding all these luxury features, comfort etc, room for the kids and shopping etc etc. if you make a die hard balls out mainstream production car you`d probably make a loss in todays market.
