I'll be the only one that thinks they look crap then.
Blurry and jaggy lines, amazing.

and if you are disappointed by the graphics in that, you will hate the ps3 as those are leaps and bounds ahead of F1 that i played

seems to be an effect in photo mode, the game has to be seen in motion check out the videos i posted in doms thread.
no jagged lines or motion blur here

Can't tell from they pics but i'll reserve judgement till I see it in the flesh.
Steve i'd also be dissapointed by jaggy graphics on the ps3.
Also, F1 is 1st gen ps3.

The Blurring is Motion Blur, all games have this to make it look more realistic as thats what cameras do naturally.
I agree with the lack of anti-aliasing though (did state that in my vid post) around spoilers/bonnets etc It's possible that it might look better through a telly....
Realism with brake heat is another let down, its being picky but nothing a little physics couldnt sort out to get it spot on like other driving games have (Toca Driver 3 for example).
One thing i think is a real let down is the scenery, was expecting something gobsmacking, but its generally flat and certainly nothing special or what everyone was making it out to be.
Still, have to wait until finally release but so far i don't think it has that wow factor that everyone has been raving on about.

Might have to keep the 360 for this game.

In all honesty they look fucking shit, look at the tyres on the cars and the exhausts on that red car, i've seen more realistic exhausts in mario kart

Um what res is that running at? My demo of Ridge Racer 7 looks beautiful (much better than GT:HD or F1).
Think the roads etc look better in the GT:HD concept. Hopefully they'll add a lot more detail by the time the real game comes out

Theres not a chance that picture is running at 720p on an xbox or a ps3.
I was playing that in 1080 and it didn't have any jaggies at all.
How long did it take you to find one that looked so bad?

More importantly what does it play like? Anyone played a demo?
maybe they have not gone OTT on the anti-alising as having a decent frame rate in a racing game of nice smoothed of lines is a better option imo.
As for the scenary being poor, your not on a country drive to admire it are you? I dont see how that is important in a racing game.
The sound clips you posted steve were awesome, if the handling and gameplay is up to scratch then maybe GT truly is no longer the daddy.
