Hi,

Went to combe today with a few mates who were on track...

This Leon Cupra R

Unfortunetely the track passes were sold out early so I couldn't take my Cally on track

Here's a look around the Pits

A certain well known Escort!

Most people will now know this little pug

And finally I noticed the nice bodywork on this

Out on track...

The Reyland Cossie was doing its thing (Awesome car but I was a little bit dissapointed with the noise of it... I know its got extra silenceing so it meets various circuits noise limits but I think they've dampened it a little too much. Having said that its was "Only" running a bar of boost today apparently

This poorly 220bhp XE Nova had too big holes in its block after this session

Owned by Bottle Throddy from Novaload, it was going really well up until then.

Ok save the best till last.

This nova might not look like much

some of you may recognise it from a post a while back showing on board footage of this car keeping with a supposed 400bhp Skyline!

Its owned by DAR (Darren) and its fabbin Awesome!!! For all you XE in a Nova / Corsa doubters.... I Clocked this car lapping in 1 min 23secs

Have a guess what the Reyland Cossie's were lapping in....

1 min 23secs

Granted the Reyland Escort was "Only" running 1 bar of boost.... so whats that.... 400 450 ... 500bhp? instead of its 700 potential. But credit where credits due, that Nova was FAST!

brillaint pics neil, looks like a good day

the reyland escoss is running 1bar instead of 2.2 iirc as it exceeds all noise limits on induction

exhaust has been made to be very very quite

the blue skyline is lee mannings who also owns the reyland 3 door

Yes I thought it was Lee's Skyline as I saw Renton, Lee and Martin in it on the way to pic up the sierra mid day

Yeah I read the feature about the Cossie... I know its been made quiet on purpose its just a bit "Too" quiet for a car of that spec. There were loads of cars that were WAY louder and still met the 100db Limit. Anyway, still an Awesome machine and not a lot could match it... (well a Nova and a few others anyway

i will defend the escort no matter what as its my favorite "modded" car ever

small novas seem to make awsome track cars though, much like oli's and lees last week, showed up some much bigger stuff

After the first session it got black flagged for Noise I believe... its an extra Silencer on the rear to quieten it as the car produces over 200bhp and only has one very small backbox and Throttle bodies
