from May xbox live gamers will get a Windows live account which shares all of the same details as the xbox live account, this means PC gamers who setup a windows live account will be able to play xbox gamers through live on games such as Halo 2 etc.
imagine in 6months PC gamers playing COD4 etc with xbox gamers etc

that would be quality, but unfair. as a mouse beats any controller at accuracy

Will be absolute bollocks if that happens. FPS gamers on the PC will be laughing.

you can use a mouse/keayboard on xbox. Also i disagree i both use and PC and 360 for gaming and prefer the controller

Same here topshot, i'm better on my 360 then PC. Granted some people might be better than me at both, but on RS:V i'd fancy my chances against any control methods.

mouse + keyboard are better for FPS games fact. i used to play pc games for years and the speed i could get my cross hair on a target was unreal. compared to a 360 controller you'd have no chance

what ryan said, once you get used to it you can make reaction shots, you cant do this with a controller. speed/accuracy is far superior on a keyboard/mouse.
the keyboard/mouse configuration isnt as natural on a console either, i heard there is a slight delay? can you customise they keys? can you customise controller buttons? i doubt it

I'd like to challenge somebody at RS:V on a PC either way to see for myself.

Exactly, its not all about FPS anyway. TDU, FIFA, FM07.... Plenty more to games than FPS.

i clearly said FPS. driving/sports will always be better on consoles. PC owns FPS

PC is more customizable as you can set the sensitivity and mouse acceleration parameters on the PC, i highly doubt you can do any of that on the 360
Its a fact, FPS games on the PC will be better due to mouse/keyboard combinations, yes you can use them on the 360 but not to the same standard. I only like my PC for FPS/RTs games like Command and Conquer etc, but for sports/driving games I prefer my 360.
Nath it would be a good test, but I could guarantee you would lose to a PC gamer at it. But it would be fun to see

On some mouses you can adjust these settings IN-GAME, you can have different profiles for different situations or weapons. You can also set mouse buttons to throw grenades, crouch/duck etc.
Please stop now, FPS is designed for the PC and always will be. COD3 is absolutely wank compared to COD1 or COD2 on pc.

you can customize it fully, and adjust the sensitivty as most games have sensitivty adjustment
ther is no delay, but its not quite as good as keyboard/mouse on pc

adjust at the flick of a switch? doubt it.
adjust the dpi? doubt it
customise buttons for in-game actions? doubt it
another point worth noting also, people use the 360 on a tv normally, so setting up a mouse/keyboard infront of your tv on the sofa, isnt so easy. Pcs are put on desks, making the position alot more natural.

you make gaming sound all FPS, either way i use both my PC and 360 and will now have 1 friends list etc for all my windows live games and 360 games etc which i think will be excellent feature and hopefully give PC games a boost

thats the good thing yes, we were just arguing the fact that FPS are better on PC :-P
the thing im looking forward to is being to play people on PES who are on PC etc, and with driving games. Possibly command and conquer to, but i play that on PC so would play vs people on 360
