If i put a red top cav engine in my corsa b wot would the 0-60 etc be. I just want to no if its worth all the money, cos my insurance quote is 3000 for it, 1700 standard 1.2 16 valve. Cheers

£3000 on insurance for a corsa? think you could save £1300 for your next car? Just a thought?

Nah man i love the idea of big engine wee car, and i love my corsa too. Ive only had it about half a year so not time to change yet. I will maybe wait to tell the insurance company about it until i am 20 in nearly a year cos it shud drop a gud bit then. I have no ncb and 3 penalty points and live in nortern ireland so that will all add to the price also

Wot i meant was im not getting the engine now i have to get new wheels etc. first, so hopefully the date i get the engine wont be too far off my birthday. Im doing it all ligit dont worry.lol. Im getting the engine, brakes and everything including fitting for 1250. I have my car lowered 40mm, but dont no if this suspension will do.

My insurance will be 3000 if i ensure it b4 i am 20. It just depends if i can afford the engine and insurance in a few months i will do it then, but if i cant i will wait about a year till i am 20

Your post says you will wait till your 20 to tell the insurance company, not you will wait till you 20 to do the conversion!

Ive been told that the 0-60 wud be roughly 6 secs but if not does any1 have a more accurate figure. Its gona b quick anyway
