it will be single point. nothing you can do really to get more power easiest thing to do would be put a 1.4 in.

as said above you can spend a lot of money and still not get a lot of power.best off finding another engine.but if you did want to mod that engine the best things you could get would be a cam, exhaust manifold and a full system without doing any internal work to it.

Would be better buying an engine than doing all that - it would cost a fair bunch, and the gains wouldn't be that great.

your not going to get much power out of them at all unless you spend silly money.
so far i have:
k and n panel filter
sportex cat back system
nova sr cams
1.4 throttle body (same size as standard just bigger injector)
and its only a bit quicker.
may go onto get a 1.8 throttle body, 1.6spi inlet and decat it.

not a huge difference as standard but its noticable, the 1.6 is easly tunable compared to a 1.4, throttle boddies, cams, inlets, mapping etc. Not sure what it would take or how much it would cost but a 1.6 could see 150+ bhp, i think Dave A's is about 220bhp am i right?
Stick with what you have a for a while and get a 1.6 or 2.0. No point in going to a 1.4 from a 1.2 because you will just get bored again and then try and tune the 1.4 and find out you cant do much with out spending shit loads of money. and even after spending a fare bit ona 1.4 you wont see much difference compared to a 1.6.
