Right,

Am just starting a project, I want to fit a supercharger and possibly intercooler, to my Corsa C 1.4 Sri. This is sort of a tester, Corsa Copper S, building experience for bigger projects in the future.

However, I am having a bit of trouble sourcing a suitable blower and kit. Does anyone know of any companies selling a suitable bolt on kit? I’ve seen a few members that are selling older chargers; maybe you guys could help me out with parts and tips?

If any one breaking an old car has a working system I could lift out, that would be great.

There is not bolt on kit available, you'd have to do EVERYTHING yourself.

The 16v engine you have would need it's compression ratio lowering too, or it would suffer from detonation and melt pistons.

Speak JR, he was selling a supercharger from a Cooper S just a little while ago. He probably still has it mate

yeah, i was thinking of getting a M45 blower off ebay. There are plenty going cheap. And what's more they are a sealed unit so less to plumb in and they work any way up!

there are also some flange adapter kits, but they look a bit on the expensive side.

now, has anyone installed one before?

as for lowing the compression i didnt know that. whats the difference between the 8v and 16v? how do i go about makin the changes?

They did it to a Polo which has an engine built for a supercharger.
