Heard someone saying the other day that claying after polish is better as it gets rid of all the crap that polish leaves behind

id like to know this aswell. but i would also like to know if you can only use the same peice of clay once or whether its reusable (obviously dependiong how dirty it is)

Its £13 for a new clay bar, I used half when I did it last time

Wash clay polish wax

And yes it's reusable you are always kneeding it when it gets dirty so cleans itself.

lol i noticed that aswell been using them for years now! its another bandwagon. I bet most folk dont even use them properly, i take a good 2 or 3 hours when claying a car.

People rush it, and miss a lot. They think just a quick rub will do, when in fact you have to keep going over untill all is smooth.

i think the meguirs one comes with everything? not sure though dont use them.

ive got everything bar the clay bar might get round to getting one, if people reckon its worth it.

as I can get a really nice shine as is, I can improve still?

Your best buying a kit really. You need the detailing spray as a lube for the clay. Otherwise it wont work and will catch on the paint.

I found I used nearly a whole bottle claying the golf though.

I do it in this order, wash, clay, polish, wax, sealant
