Hey everyone new to corsasport, usually hang out on corsa-c.co.uk, as i have a 1.2 sxi C but recently bought a B and now im in the process in turning it into a budget track toy, so heres the build
bought it for £150 off a workmate, no tax/mot but pretty decent apart from the mouldy interior, one 1.4 ls 8v corsa b
then started on putting it on a diet ripping the old interior out.......
next up was removing all the sound deadening and the foam in the passenger footwell, so out came the heat gun and a bin........
and here's how much of the bin that lot filled up, defo loss of weight here...

next debadging.............
then re-furbished the exterior trim with some red-scotch and balck spray paint to vamp em up a bit
before
after
then went around and whipped off the surface rust with a wire wheel
and cut out some excess tailgate metal (might get fibreglass rear and side doors in the future)
did a repair on 2 dents in the rear driver 1/4 panel (with signs of previous filler underneath)
and made a start on a couple of creases in the driver door
purchased a redtop from a k reg cav gsi with 82k on it

soz for late answer JR had loads of pics to upload
the car is going to be yellow with black plastic front and rear bumpers (hense being called the wasp)
engine will be a bog standard C20XE F20 box, will improve as and when time and money are available, probs just a re-map and decent exhaust system for the time being then add as i go along

oh yeah im well up for that, would love to get my teeth into some track racing, which is just what this car is goin to be for (poss the odd drag up santapod aswell hehe)
all a case of if and when she's finished, the conversion part worried me the most, bodywork is my game, i mostly know quite little on the engine/wiring side of things, but iv got a few mech minded peeps at work who might give me a hand

Looks like you're doing everything properly! Colour scheme sounds interesting! Wasn't sure on the wheels until you said they were going black!

colour scheme was a stroke of luck really
it WAS goin to be white at first (as we have loads of pre-mixed white paint at work which i can get a a good trade price)but one of the painters at work crashed his E36 M3 which was yellow, he was goin to repair it, but got sent 5 different shades/codes of yellow which wer all wrong
so asked if i wanted em, for FREE aswell!, i sed yes obviously, so when i come to it, wer gonna chuck all 5 yellow tins in one mixing bucket and see what we come out with
