i would like to be able to Test some big changes / updates on my server (software wise), but I don’t want to do it without testing it first.
Ive looked at VMWARE converter/player but because its a standard version of sbs 2k3 it asks for immediate activation or no logon, so that option is not available.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Is the drive array mirrored? One way to check mass changes is the split the array, perform changes on one drive (and resync if ok).

You can boot from other drive and sync back the other way if it all goes wrong.

3 Hard disks, using raid 5 array.
Ive never messed with re-syncing drives etc
