Sometimes when i'm giving my car death, i can hear it back fireing.

How does this happen and how do i keep doing it?

Isn't it to do with un-burnt fuel coming through the exhaust?

Does it happen when your accelerating on the gas? If so it's over fuelling like a mother fucker.

mine does this. is it not something to do with the spark plugs ignite twice to burn unburnt fuel and thats how you hear 4 backfire noises (small bangs/pops) because it has 4 cylinders. could be wrong tho lol

I'm not worried. I want to do it more often

I think it is happening when i back off and the revs are high.

When my mates are following they say that pure petrol is coming out of my exhaust.

Might be coz i don't have a cat.

it happens when you rev through a gear and then just let your foot off the accelerater instead of changing up a gear.

when its revving back down tap the accelerater very slightly and it'll pop

mine does anyway loll

My ibiza used to do it. It had a fuel injector out of a 1.8 and it was a 1.4 engine

Every time i came off the throttle it would pop, more so when the engine was really hot
