Well for anyone interested, i have decided i'm not selling up. I'm going to put some money into this car and hopefully make it show worthy. Work has already begun. It now has an original G40 bumper on now with red stripe, trim's going on hopefully at the weekend. I now have an Alpine head unit going in! (i've had no music for months). Getting a nice Boost gauge for it at the weekend, then i'm going to get the bonnet resprayed. Sorry to upset any potential buyers, but i've always got rid of my cars after months of buying them then regretted it, so i'm taking a different path with this one.

Anyway just thought i'd let you guys know, and keep a lookout for progress as i'll sort out a progress thread at some point. Do you boys think i've made the right decision? I do

I think some 8" wide BBS rims would finish that off

I'm tempted to modify but part of me wants to make it a mint standard example, some retro porsche wheels would be nice too, black with polished lip (any kind of retro porsche wheel really)

D90's would be cool, but i think wider versions of whats on now would be better, as it'll still look fairly standard

edit : yeah those wide, slightly dished steelies are cool too

I told you, you should keep it! It's a car.

Think i'm keeping the 106 too as i have spent so much money on it i don't think anything else can go wrong and if it does then most of it has warrenty so it seems silly to get rid.

Good luck with the polo. What are you going for? Looks? Performance? Bit of both?
