I have got a normal pc running windows xp, and a laptop running vista. Both use wireless internet running through a linksys wireless router. The laptop has wireless built in and the pc uses a linksys wireless adapter. Both pick up internet fine, but I can’t get my laptop to recognise my home PC or vice versa. I also want to be able to send documents from my laptop to print off the printer on my main PC if that is possible. Can anyone help?
Sorry for the essay

if they are connecting to a wireless router then they are networked just need to allow permissions, share resources etc

Right ok so i don't need to set anything up on the main PC then? They are both connected to the same wireless router, wirelessly not wired if you get what i mean

right click on the files you want sharing and enable the shared option on each computer.
then download netview and run that when it picks up the folders on the network right click it and choose to show it in the my computer icon.
job done.
