Had my VTR 6 days. First day gearbox was dodgy. Second day engine was jumpy. Third, fourth and fifth day I noticed clutch was dieing. Sixth day it died

Back driving the corsa again Alot slower though

PISSED OFF!

Gearbox & clutch on those pieces of turd are the most common problem, I swear the cogs are made of plastic.

clutch would have been related to the gearbox, the first input shaft bearing goes and leaks oil onto the clutch

replacement and fitting of what?

saxos are not built anyworse than a corsa, they have weak boxes, that is there achilles heel, but apart from that they are no worse

my corsa gsi was a rusty heap and riddled with far more problems than any saxo or 106 iv ever owned.

saying that the later model corsa b's should be better although still no better

I still love the VTR. So much faster and much more fun to drive than the SRi. Can see it being very expensive though

my GSI idled like a yoyo when i brought it, a good spay of carb cleaner and bingo all gone
