tbh 1.8 sri will be hardly any quick than a vtr bud, would get a mint vtr for 4k, or spend 3k on a minter and 1k for some subtle mods !

Agree, depends what he is looking for ?

Personally i have never liked saxo's ever..

The fact that all the Boy racers moved on from Nova's and into the saxo's [Around My Way] Put's me off them....... But for the size and weight comparison of the saxo againts the corsa.... Saxo's come out on top.

But if i were spending £3000 - £4000 like when i bought my corsa C, I was looking for Toys n Accessories rather than performance.

My mate just got a 1.4 corsa c sri. it goes alright and he just spent around £800 on it and it looks fit, coilies and grill and imo it's finished!

And go for a corsa sri over a vtr. I'd have a corsa c 1.4 sri over my 106 gti infact. I really like em. More grown up imo.

compared to a c20xe B, I agree

Would not fancy driving any other model C with a smaller engine, Especially after selling my c20xe B, going from raw grunting power to smooth quiet acceleration wasn't nice and made me depressed but had to move on.
