im lookin for some cams for my c20xe but i dont really no a gr8 deal about them something ive not looked into so asking what anyone may suggest on a fairly standard engine, i will get them run on some kind of remapable chip of course
my c20xe has 2.5 inch exhaust and ported head it made 164bhp on rollers about 2 years ago but id be happy to make the 170 mark with some cams chip and btb manifold, what kind of power delivery could i expect and etc etc from what cams
i was thinking of just ur average 264 degree cams with power band between 1500-6500 rpm which would suit me gr8 i think
any help appreciated carl

there is much 'extra' power to be found on a relatively standard engine. The c20xe cams are fairly good to start with hence improoving would mean looking at pocketing your pistons. QED's fast road cam for std pistond has a good reputation though
