they're not speedlines they're softstars

as for the centre pipe makes louder, doubt you will get it backfiring with the cat still on. but only one way to find out isnt there

Power gains, nothing noticeable without a decent inlet, even then hardly anything. Power gain wise looking at a 1.6 or above.

Although the remus pipe gives off a good sound, got one myself with a magnex backbox, no back fire etc, like above just remove a ht leads

would have thought to get it to spit/pop/bang and whiz you'd need to get a straight through, getting rid of the mid section would make the exhaust louder but you would need to get rid of all the silencers to get it to spit etc

And your car wont be legal if it was built before 1995 (think thats right) and has a straight through system - as you HAVE to have a cat!

personally i wouldn't bother mate - save the cash for a bigger lump (1.6)

if you want a loud exhaust remus centre pipe does the job, I have a 1.4 16V and it seems to give a slight increase in performance, but the most noticeable difference is the noise it makes.

Also popping is normally down to over fueling, not normally a good aspect tbh!

My turbo pops and bangs and it isn't overfuelling

DO NOT remove a HT lead

Just get a nice straight through exhaust and have a nice low rumble..Don't worry about power as on a 1.2 is not going to make much difference...

I have a Magnex backbox on mine, standard centre section. Its just right for me. Any louder would get on your tits, so glad I've not got an aftermarket centre section!

You might think its great having it loud for the 1st couple of weeks but then you might end up wishing you'd gone for something quieter!
