Went to Vsport yesterday (Thursday) to get my exhuast done . Had it RR'd before the exhuast and got 102.6 BHP from it with a Dbilas manifold and Dbilas induction kit.

(We never did know why it said 1.6 16v )

So anyway after I came back from the cinema and having eaten some food (Dave was right about that Mc Donalds!), I had this sticking out of the back of my car

As you can see it follows the line of the bumper perfectly

After having done a few extra jobs we set about rolling roading it again.

Results were:

BHP Comparison:

Torque Comparison:

Dave said I could've possibly got more power if the air temperature wasnt so high as it was 19 when he did the first run and 32 after the exhuast because of the welding heating the building up. Dave also noted that I could've got more power through a different induction kit, which I may try within a month or so.

So comments welcome please .

it wasnt just an exhaust, it was a competition spec 2.25" system with a race spec 4-2-1 custom manifold.

it shows 1.6 16v as I made a mistake while setting up the dyno

its all down to the manifold design, stick a cheap ebay manifold on and the gains will be minimal.

SBD designed the original manifold and it showed a gain of 16 bhp alone over a stock item with tb's fitted. When I fitted the manifold to my engine and replaced a janspeed item I gained 12 bhp.
