hey,

wouls someone be able to tell me if a 2.0l ecotech caviler head will fit onto a corsa gsi block. if so would there be any problems?

Yes, but I guess you want it to just bolt stright on, so no it wont.

the problems ive thought of are that its a 1.6 block and a 2.0 head the headgasket would have to be off like a 1,8 or summat. and the pressure is my other concern.

Why would you want to do it though? It's not like it's an amazingly good head or anything.

You're better with the C16XE head if your GSi is a X16XE.

its just ive got a 2.0 cav head n if it fits then all well good but thats y im askin cause if i go out and buy a gsi head which arnt cheep and a 2.0 head fits then ive wasted my money on the gsi head.. how much are gas flowed heads?

I bought my C16XE head for £35

Cost me £205 for a full gas-flow and chemical clean

It would be cheaper to buy a 1.6 gas flowed head than modifying a 2.0 head to fit.

could you give me a link to any sites that sell gas flowed heads or standarh heads please, also with gas flowed heads are they any different to set up then your normal head.
