Hey there. I bought Forza 2 a few days ago. Spent 5 hours on it working perfectly. I went to work and then the next day and since I have been trying to play it and it either crashes the xbox, the game itself freezes (i can still access the dashboard) or when Im scrolling through menues (like which race to chose) im missing icons or there are randomly coloured squares where a trophy should be etc. It also become very very very slow loading everything. Whats happened? I dont a internet conection to connect it for these so called updates (on a console game? takes the piss).
Ill admit the disc has a few very tiny scratches on it in a circle, where for some unknown reason my xbox is scratching the disc, but it shouldnt affect everything.

yeh i got my game yesterday and it's seeming to crash on one particular track. looks like i may need to take it back and swop it

yes its the game, take it back, strangely everyone i know with the limited edition pre order has been fine  maybe these were pressed in a different factory or something

steve i too have noticed this me and one mate have been fine where another from the same shop (non ltd~) has been crashing.

yea mine is the non limited version, will HMW take it back even though its got this ring of 'damage' on it? whats the best line to use?

I have also emailed Microsoft about what its doing, because i think it destroyed my PGR 3 disc (luckily the ebay seller i bought it from had a spare copy). Even though I dont have a receipt i may get lucky and be able to have a recall....im aware its unlikely, but I dont know if i want to risk doing this:

should do, if you have your recipt it shouldnt be a problem. just tell em its not working etc shouldnt need an excuse

if they dont take it back ill just have to ask for a manager and if they wont do it ill ask for head office's address and their name, should shit them up

yeah theres strong evidence that a lot of disks out there are faulty, say to them your quite wwilling to gather some if they want to question it
they should be fine if your swapping for another though

ok then, when it stops pissing it down here in lincoln ill venture out to the town centre. nearly had a heart attack , my GF had thrown the receipt away  i set her straight with the usual saying - throwing away a 360 receipt is like burning 2 £20 notes
