But Chelsea want Chimbonda for 12M to me thats 6M over priced, so if he goes for that then we have made money back. i fint 25m for Torres is 7m over the top , but if teams want players they are prepaired to pay over the ods for them, wether you feel they are worth it or not.

Torres cost £20m...then we got £4.5m for Garcia. So technically he was cheaper than Bent.

this is what makes me laugh, why do all you lot think that us supporters wanted bent

I think Defoe is a much better player and would happily play him over bent anyday, ok bent has a good scorring record 37 goals in 68 games isnt that bad, so im sure he will do fine at spurs, but i would have rather spent the money on 2 midfield players.

We have money so we will just buy a midfielder as well.

TBH I dont think you'll do too well this season.

Too many new players so will be another 'settling' season for you guys. Probably be around Newcaslte, Villa, Bolton, etc. as I think Arsenal will still have just too much for you to catch them.

Bent is much better than Defoe. A well motivated Bent will always be an asset to any club he plays for.

How many goals has Bent scored in a team thats been struggling for two seasons at the wrong end of the table? Answer? Quite a few.
