I think its time to sell the 106, i have owned the 106 for a year and abit and its been serviced regulary. I have receipts for alot of the parts i have bought too

Here a few pics:

Spec as follows:
1.6 16v engine ( 130bhp standard )
Simota Ram induction kit
Apex 55mm lowering springs and 55mm drop on torsion bar
Lemforder track rod ends ( recent fitted and tracking has been done )
Raceland Strut brace
Magnex cat back exhaust ( alot easier as nothing is needed to be changed for mot time )
Morrette head lights ( about £400 a set also changed bulbs recently )
Valeo Clutch kit fitted only 1000 miles ago.
new brake pads fitted.

Heres some more history:
Its been serviced 3 times since i have owned it ( oil and oil filter changed, fuel filter and spark plugs ) that works out having the oil changed every 3,300 miles.
Gearbox oil has been changed twice and i have used total bv oil ( high grade stuff for performance cars)
I changed the clutch recently because the release bearing was worn and was making a noise, so i decided to change the hole clutch as i was taking it out - proof that when i change items i replace everything so it doesnt sting me in the future. While changing the clutch i have also adjusted the gear linkages so the gears are alot closer and easier to shift.
Track rod ends were changed recently and i got the tracking done so its straight ( had the alignment changed to 1 and half degrees inwards for better cornering).

Heres the best bit, this 106 has only covered 30,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its been used as my daily driver but i have started doing motorway miles and so i need something bigger.
It has about 10months tax and mot is due end of oct, it will fly through mot no problem just like it did last year.
It will only come with the standard tape player.
Only had 3 owners from new too!!!
This is a really mint 106 and will be perfect for a daily driver or just for a pure track beasty.

Im after £3,250 ono

some people say 120bhp some say 130bhp, i honestly cant say as its never been RR'd.
I would say its 130bhp as it has beaten a renault clio 2.8 16v comfortably ( 125bhp )

2.8 16v aye??

I was at a Rolling road day a few months ago and seen a nigh on standard GTi make 150bhp.I kid u not.The guy said it was standard apart fi a decat, air filter and exhaust.Looked like a GRP N exhaust tho.

As said tho, they left the factory with 120bhp.There is even talk of 1s that left with more and were only painted China Blue but thats bull.

Nope rollers were fine,It was Dastek. All the other cars that run were making expected power i.e mk4 astra GSIs were putting out just over 200bhp(factory),my bros 1.6 civic esi made 139bhp with just a filter and straight thro exhaust.

Dont get me wrong for all i know the guy mightve been bullshitting by saying its standard to make it look good, but he was asking what the difference would be with cams and how much they would fit them for etc.Was maybe just a healthy engine.

cheers, oh and i meant a 1.8 16v clio

Like i said, i dont know if its 130 or 120bhp as i havent RR'd. Some people say 130bhp and other say 120bhp. Which ever way, they have a great 0-60 time.
