what is the best water repellent for glass. e.g rain ex. are there any others better or similar to rain ex. thanks.

Rain ex is pretty good stuff

Whatever chumbly warner uses for his windscreen must be good as he dont have any wipers

just a silicone spray of some type I suppose, I have used plain silicone spray in the past on glass and it works very well.

i use rain x its pretty good stuff tbh

im interested in this silicon stuff though i have some rocol precision silicon spray in the garage its like a lubricant but it has many uses in the home etc, will that do the same job?

Ah cool that sounds pretty handy, what do you do just apply a thin layer and thats it? how long would it last??

I just use maguires glass cleaner, seems to run off my window screen well

my local car wash has a wax button and the wax comes out of the lance

clart the windscreen in it and its better than rainX

Autoglym Glass Polish.

My wipers piss me off - I only use the intermittent speed, otherwise they're turned off. That's how good the glass polish is!

make sure you have nice new wiper blades if you intend using any glass water repelants, otherwise you will have major fun when using your windscreen washers in the sun.
