I currently have a cat back system on my car and I was just wondering if it's
worth replacing the manifold and cat to, what difference would there be?
at the moment when you start up the car and drive its a bit raspy untill it
gets going, will a full system stop that? do many people get sports cats or
just do the manifold? Its a 1.4 16v SRI
thanks

ive got a cat back peco stainless system on my gsi and a 4 branch manifold and it sounds nice (not to loud but just rite) pushed my car up from 107bhp tp 111bhp.
i wouldny bother with a de-cat, they dont add any power and you lose back pressure

What engine is your car?I wasn't going to get rid of the cat, I was just wondering what difference sport cats do?
So it's a 4 2 2 1 manifold that might be worth getting? Will it have to be the same make as my cat back system and will it be able to be used with a standard cat?

4-2-1 manifolds are probably the best, ive got a 4-1 lexmaul on my gsi standard cat and a stainless peco system with a square peco backbox.
if you go for a 4-1 make sure the o2 sensor is fitted at the end of the manifold where it joins the cat.
mine has been fitted in 1 pipe so come MOT time it wont pass the emissions test.
