that makes what i would be paying sound good, someone on here just got a new fiesta zetec s and it looks really nice so priced one up and came out at 233 or there abouts over 3 years and the insurance was another 100 odd on a 1.6 so would be 300 odd..

Paid £550 insurance last year on a 1.4 Corsa C. Fully comp with 5 or 6 yrs ncb. Can't really remember now
Dodgy postcode though
Paid for the car out-right.

yeah it does seem alot but i will pay it as i wanted the car, had problems every 2 weeks for a year with the corsa which ended up written off, not my fault.
new car, 66k (3 years) warranty so no problems
bit of advice: if you want a new zetec s in your specification, be prepared to wait 18 weeks for it as theres a huge delay, i only got mine through a cancelled order

I'd never get car finance again. Not after the saxo. Better off just saving up.

Its a fair point on cheap cars but what do you do if you want a car thats 20k? Would take a good few years to get that sort of cash put aside unless you have a really really well paid job.
As long as you can afford the repayments then I dont see the problem.

BTW have you looked at other cars before deciding on the Fiesta ST? I think you could get a better car

Only get what u can afford on finance! Sounds silly, but loads of people stretch themselfs too much!
