Its the same difference as Windows Xp home & Windows Xp Professional...

TBH you will hardly notice a difference, save yourself the £50!

Only difference between the two would be networking and probably bigger driver support for hardware.
I dont know the number but i'll use this as an example.

Home can support 10 on a single network, pro can support 20. buisnesses will benifit more from using pro.

Give us some details of your system, it might not even be worth while you buying such a new operating system. It will work fine with 32bit but you wont benefit as much as a 64 bit obviously.

CPU Speed?
Memory?
hard drive?

and do you have a dvd drive? (sounds silly but some people would make a silly mistake of buying software on dvd without knowing if they need a dvd drive or not)

Why would they not support as much hardware on a lower version
Why would they limit the size of network?

Somebody that's about to take on an OS install should probably also be able to use google tbh

All versions of vista, except maybe the lowest, but haven't tested it, won't install unless a dvd drive, internal or external, is connected.

Microsoft charge alot for support, so why cant they charge extra for things a buisness would benefit from to make the extra cash.

Seems stupid, but it would make sense.. rip offs tbh!
