when refitting conrods to my c20xe which way do the oil gallery holes face that are in the con rods. thanks

the locater's for the bearing shells should point towards the back of the block, with arrows on the pistons pointing towards the water pump

iv had the pistons taken off and now im putting them back on to the rods there all forged jobbies so there are no marks on them. i know which way the pistons go its just there are holes on 1 side of the conrods where the oil gets pumped through the crank then through the big end bearings and escapes throught the hole in the conrod in must squirt up the underside of the bore just need to know if the hole goes to the inlet side or the exhaust

well the locators for the bearings go to inlet side, i dont know what side that makes the hole though

as we spoke about on the phone, hole faces the inlet side of the engine to spray oil under the gudgean pin before the compression stroke.
step in the piston rings face towards the sump.
