Started to make a lot of noise recently

What are the dangers of not getting it sorted a.s.a.p

i.e Will the wheel fall off?

If so how long have I got

£100 to replace as its the complete hub

Bearing will fall apart then the wheel could possibly lock up and cause an incident.
Yeh could wobble the wheel left to right and cause the bolts to sheer but it will be totally nuts to drive by then.

On my m8s escort his was making alot of noise for about 2-3 months and nothing happend his wrote the car off before the bearings had a chance

Also could get pg9 by the traffic cops then your have to get it sorted to pass the m.o.t

change it now

Mine started making a noise...then it bust and melted itself to the stub axle. Driving along at 60mph and the rear wheel stopped making me spin around

Needed new stub axle, new bearing and new brake drum

Ive bin told my bearing has gone and that it needed fixing. That was about 2 months ago and the car is still running fine. Would get it fixed but have no money and my next pay days money is going on a re spray so it will have to wait another month. Cant be to bad, unless i crash becoz of that, then i will tell you lol
