My motherboard has a small fan, about 1.5" big on it. Its making a bit of noise, and quite frankly, pissing me off.
Can I get a new one? If so, where from?

You can get aftermarket mobo fans, they are usually attatched to the mobo with 2 pegs.

ebuyer, overclockers, scan, dabs, etc.
Personally recommend going for the Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7. Is only cheap but good quality.

Its the one for the on-board graphics. I've got a PCI-E card for the graphics anyway, so I just need to see if I can turn it off now.

Had the same problem with my Asus Mobo, got a replacement aftemarket one - been fine since, tbh you could take it off and not notice any difference.

you sure it's for the onboard graphics? usually the motherboard (not the cpu fan) will have a fan on the south/north-bridge, which is typically a 40mm 2 (not 3!) pin fan.
Apart from replacing it (have a look on overclockers, ebuyer, ebay, microdirect etc) you could unscrew it, rip off the label covering the barring fixing, add a few drops of "2 in 1" oil or WD40, spin the fan my hand a few times, wipe the excess and reinstall - usually that'll sort it for a while
