0-60 is just under 7 secs or about that at least.

Top speed is around 130's

Fuel cosumption can be pretty good if driven sensibly, but obviously if you boot it around then bye bye petrol

Pros - Goes like a train, car feels a lot more than it actually is. Surprising a lot of cars.

Cons - Sups like buggery when you overdo the loud pedal. Some engines have a lot of miles. Should have bought a 106GTI.

Pros

Faster
More fiesty
Feel like you have to really be involved with the car
Power it should have come with.
Doesn't need to be driven as hard as a small block.
Not many cars can get change from £1500 and double the cars power.

Cons
Older and usually higher milage (= possible issues down the line, note Possible)...
Its still in a corsa, and your driving it Doesn't matter how much quicker you are, others will laugh.
More area for breakdowns (driveshafts, mounts etc).
Cost more to insure, and much more to tax (if your legal).

Well a standard X16 is 106BHP. A standard C20 will be around 150BHP. Thats a big hike.

See thats strange, because mine used to drink fuel. And absorb it if given throttle.

Yet I haven't had any CV, or driveshaft or any other issues.

I don't consider the wiring loom melting, or the crankshaft sensor wire snapping to be "engine issues" really.

My fuel consumption is better in the 2.0 than it was in the 1.6.

Then again, the 1.6 was fooked
