ok im really starting to cheesed off was goin along in a 30mph speedlimit zone 2nite and a young twat of a kid in a ford focus rs or summit must have been his dads was right up my arse and blasted past me doin bowt 60-70mph ,it all started since i had it lowerd and a sports exhaust fitted evey boy racer seems to think i wanna race them,i wudnt even try cos i know iv got no chance in my 1.2 but thinking bowt geting a engine conversion nxt year but not sure what to get but just for once id like to shock some of these lil twating boy racers driving there dad fast cars and leave them standing.

so how many mpg roughly would i get out of these 2 engine sizes and what would people recommend, also whats the ups and down and cost involved in running them and actually gettin the conversion done.

RANT OVER....................

tbh with either you arent really going to be putting much to shame other than 1.2's, theres alot of cars out there that are quicker than a 2.0 corsa.

Thats true. Your only a wee young n.

For the MPG in a 1.6 i get £10 = 65 miles. £30 = 230 miles (don't know why).

I think that my car now has aname for itself coz everyone seams to like me. Everyone with a modded car will let me out of a junction, wave me through when there are 2 cars parked on each sides.

And only when i get onto a 60 road does anyone flash me wanting to play. So i and leave them all

mate not having a rant but you need to sort out the use of your "theres"
I went to THEIR house
I thought why not have a picnic over THERE
I would talk to them, but THEY'RE GAY
sorry mate just felt like having a laugh! back to the subject, yeah 1.6 16V is quite nippy but driving one everyday you get used to it, it will feel like a rocket when you drive a 1.2 everyday, but if you do the conversion you wont, so you will get used to it, and you WILL want something faster!

banks? urm, I dunno what you mean but I find the only thing with the small block XE engines (1.4 16V and 1.6 16V) is you have to get them revving before they really pick up, and then they limit at 6500rpm and the funs over, you can raise the rev limit but the components really need strengthening first, which happens to be very costly!

Next time, when at the lights with something, rev up, then make sure no one is behind u, and just reverse backwards when the other car shoots off.
