Had my tank for years and got some cool big old fish in there.

Bought a couple of Clown Loaches as a present for our kiddy, Amelia.

Anyway.... got up this morning and found 4 dead and all the ones from Pets at home covered in white spot!

Went down to Pets at home and had arguement with the manager. He basically said, shit happens, go buy some new ones!

Wanted to smack the cunt.... just email their headoffice complaining about him!

My 2 fishes from there have survived so far..

Although one's flakes are falling off and going all gold, and the other one is going black instead of cold and has grown a number of new fins

Never buy from a supplier like that, quality of fish is always shocking.

And always quarantine them first if your putitng any new fish into an established tank.

your water wouldnt be fine if the tank is only just set up, unless you had established filter media already. If not, your fish got caught up in the tanks initial cycle and no doubt died due to this.

Well we bought 2 fish from here the other month... Wouldnt say more than 6 months.

Stated earlier in this thread that they were deformed..

One died last week looked like it had fin rot.

And the other died early hours of this morning, although seemed fine.. It sproutted new fins and tails but seemed happy.

So in future I think we're going to stick to our local pet shop where in previous years we've bought gold fish that have lasted for years.

Pets at home's fish are poo!

Ive told pets at home to fuck off.

They replied a week later saying take the fish to the shop with a water sample and they will look into replacing all my fish i lost!

The fucking fish have been dead for over a week... you seriously think i'd keep them in the house?
