I've suffered from it before...

But now I know its setting in again - anyone else got any advice? Lack of car, anyone at home (whole family gone away), bad time at work, lack of gf (been away for 2 weeks of a month now) - just dont know what to do with myself.

I'm suffering from it abit.

Just lost my pride and joy ( I know its only a bit metal)

Not aloud to go to work, so no money, so that means cant go out etc etc

not aloud to start my college course becase of car crash so I might cause a injury to myself

I keep snapping at everyone because parts of my brain are damaged and don't realise i'm doing it.

Short term memory has gone because part of the brain is dead

Can't drink for 6 months

Can't drive for 12 months

All gets to you.

I haven't got any advice, but wouldn't mind some.

Mate I know my accident doesnt even relate to yours, but I can relate to you. I just try to throw myself into life sooo hard that I forget about it. Then you sit down and it all comes flooding back.

Im fed up of everyone judging me about the accident as well - I wish some people would just stfu and butt out where their not wanted

guys, times do get bad, but the old saying is so so true.

Things can only get better.

Keep your chin up, talk to a close friend and sk them to take you out. Take your mind of things.

I feel so sorry for people with depression, its very hard to deal with.

Have you thought about a nice break with the other half? just to chill.

failing that, see the doc for depression tabelts, I may have to.

I haven't got many close friends, and they're always busy.

Ive got a £770 excess to pay off, as well as £3k of the car to pay off still.

A little break is WELL out of the question. Nobody arounds, makes me reailise how "lonely" I actually am. And here I am with my sob story on an internet website.

Ive had counciling in the past, Dads beenon pills before and doenst want me on them.

You lot REALLY do help - but internet isnt working that well tonight, and CS always seems a bit slow on sat nites

Just cant find anything to look forward to. If I knew the car was being repaired, or if I had someone with me, my gf or a mate. I think a courstey car would REALLLY help

My advice would be to keep busy, that's all anyone told me

Oh and Scott, anti-depressants are a bad idea, all the doctors etc that I've seen only give them out if they really need to, and even then they're reluctant to.

I think you need a hobby

Remote control car racing, plus you might be able to get someone to buy you one to cheer you up

Dunno mate, listen to some music, watch a film, invite a mate or 2 round for a bit, something like that.

No-one ever said what things to do, just 'keep busy' which is really useful

Those anti-depressants are meant to be quite bad, as in, they are really addictive! The only thing I could suggest is to try and organise a meet with friends/other half and have a proper conversation and open up about it Really helped me when I was really low! CS will always be here and there are many many people here that would be more than willing to help you guys out, we're your friends

But I used to be out in my car everynight, or on the piss (work permitting) nearly every weekend, now to this, thats what gets to me.

Want my XE back Still on a downer about being home from Newquay too. Might go back over the bank holiday...
