Hi
On my 1.2 8valve SOHC, i was running with very little oil for about 90 miles or so. I now have a rattline sound coming from the top of the engin but more to the sides by the distributor and also the side of the timing belt.
I have taken the the top of the cam housing off (the bit with the oil cap on) to reveal the cams, and the camshaft looks fine. There is no scoaring and there is no play in it.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and how to fix it?
any help much appreciated as i attempting to fix this myself.
