we been looking at quickracks for our corsa b track project but they no longer do the full rack .. and contacting quaife they dont even make a kit anymore ... so been told EPAS would be a logical thing to look at installing

whats bits are needed?
how much roughly does it cost?
ease of fitting?
any instructions on fitting?

thanks in advance all!

ive done a couple of epas conversions now, it works well with high powered corsas.

its not an easy job, need dash out, lots of wiring and fusebox needs to be modified for the motor to fit, column bracket needs modifying asn does the ignition barrel. you also need new indicator housing and bearings (unless you get thse with the column) one of the pedals (clutch I think) needs a bracket made up and welded as it bolts onto the non epas column bracket and doesnt on the epas one.

we charge £300 for the conversion all done.

i see .. so its not as simple as remove non epas column and bolt in an epas one? lol

will be doing it all ourselves so will need to source the parts

what cars had them in?

The EPAS is the same ratio as a quickrack.
The places I have seen advertising quick racks include Demon Tweaks and they quote the kit as a Quaife item but ran out 3 months ago and have had them on order ever since.
Spoke to Quaife who have never made one for the corsa, so not sure if the nova is the same?
Both EPAS and quickracks are 2.5 turns lock to lock.
