How the fuck dya do it? Followed all the steps on Apple's shit website and they've made absolutely fuck all difference.
Its basically crashed and is showing a track on pause with the lock symbol on even though it isn't locked. Switching it back and forth does nothing.
Any ideas except let the battery die?

hmm that must be different to Apple's version cos it just worked, or i've been diong it wrong and wasted the last 2 hours trying

just hold down menu and select, thats how i reset my 5th gen ipod
