go to your local tax office, they'll do it free and if you're lucky you'll get someone who will do estimates instead of having to show them loads of reciepts

It's not too much work, I did my own... if you have your end of year pay slip with all your earnings I'll tell you how to do it loafofbrett.

I can probably set up a spreadsheet that'd work it all out for you. Your last payslip for the tax year should have a summary of earnings to date for that year, all you need is that total and the PAYE tax then you can go from there. If you find it, u2u me and i'll give you a hand.

Get your employer to issue a P60 
A P60 form is the end of year certificate of pay and tax deducted under PAYE (Pay As You Earn). It shows an employee's total amount of pay for income tax purposes, along with how much has been deducted in tax and National Insurance over the tax year.
