White Felicia pick up 1.3
'96 / P
72k miles
12 months mot and 6 months tax from next thursday 16th Aug
white, standard 13" steels, with centre caps.

I've had it about 19months, and it's really done me proud. It was originally bought to lug a few bits around like engines when i was working on a previous car. I had planned to try and drop in a VR6 at some stage, but i have neither the money or the space to follow this through, so it wont happen.

several new bits on it inc, alternator, exhaust, thermostat.
had a decent service last year with new plugs, leads, dizzy cap, filters etc.
will give it an oil and filter change next week.
The cam chain has rattled since before i've had it, but this makes no difference to the performance, and isn't about to break.

not blisteringly quick, but it handles pretty well, and can lug a fair load.
would make a good work horse, or to be played with to get it looking nice.

Panasonic CD player, and Infinity 2way front speakers included.

Paint work is generally fairly good where it hasn't been battle scarred, but there are a few dinks on certain panels as it's been used as a comercial vehicle for most of it's life. there's a scrape on the rear arch that's showing some rust, and a few rust specs along the o/s skirt/rear panel joint. O/s door shut is peppered with stone chips.
Rear window was broken by a previous owner and replaced with chequer plate, with a small perspex window in the middle. Rear visibility is still fine.
Bed had previously been plated with some thicker metal to aid loading, and i've painted it again since it's been in my possession.

It's located in High Wycombe, and i'll be looking for approximately £600 for it.
Viewing is welcome. You can reach me on 07773845713 or handleymyke@aol.com

Please shout if you have any questions.
Michael

I can't really justify taking a part exchange, unless you have something like a £200 Volvo 340 with MoT.

Adam D - I'd quite like a Frontera, but can't do an exchange on it right now, especially not with that much money your way. (u2u box is full)

yes they are, but they likely wont be included in the sale.

I hit a deer tonight, so the price will have to drop.
pics of damage to come. think it needs a new wing.

Ok, some bad news.
I last night ran over a deer. It came from nowhere while i was doing about 65. To be honest i was expecting worse damage than there is, but it definately needs a new wing.

here are some pics of the damage, plus some people were asking for more details of the bad areas and the bed.

here's the offending beast

damage caused to n/s wing:

couple of minor dents in other wing

rust on o/s sill/quarter panel junction

bed

rear window

the door currently catches on the wing, but it could be pulled out enough to clear, or ideally replaced altogether.

the sill rust is surface only, and the metal is still solid. this could be rubbed down and painted.

the fuel pump cover in the bed really needs taking out and having a new piece riveted over. the rest will be ok again with a fresh lick of paint.

Frustrating that the deer incident has happened just as it was up for sale, but that's life.
I don't know how much a replacement wing would be, but I obviously have to drop the price now. It is still for sale, but wont be worth me selling for less than £500 after i get 6months tax next week, or £440 if it goes this weekend.

Any interested parties are still welcome to come and look, but bare in mind the fresh damage and the fact that i'll be keeping it for another year if no-one offers me the price stated above.

cheers

I never saw this previously, but it does look like the cat was the cause of the trucks demise. I'll skin the fucker.

Anyway, vehicle is now SOLD.
