Ok i never ever do this but when i asked for a week off giving 2 months notice my boss kicked off and said the usual "its a bad time ect" to be honest i could book a holiday in 2050 and it would be a "bad time"

only thing is i have booked a holiday about next sat and havent told him

so i need an excuse that will get me off the whole week.

Doctor, you have to turn back every morning half way to work to do a shit.

Getting really bad and it gets worse because you are worrying about it.

Asking for that week then pulling a sicky wasn't the smartest though.

Go to docs, make up loads of crap about how your treated badly at work and its causing problems at home, you feel like shit, dread waking up in the morning for work etc etc

Doc will sign you off work with stress.

A week off will require a docs note anyway mate so he "has to see you" really.

Honestly, go and pour your heart out to the doc and he will sign you off with stress for a week or 2 if you like.
