well im gonna be getting a body kit for my car in abut 4 weeks and was wondering how hard it will be to fit.

im only gonna have about £200 to spend and i can get either a combat kit or a Jap kit from ebay for around that price, the reason im asking is because im trying to save a bit of cash by fitting it myself.

i think i will be able to fit it myself and ill probably get someone else to paint it so i dont fuck it up, i cant realy fuck it up by trying to fit it myself can i?

i had a look at the turorials page but couldnt find any on fitting body kits, any chance someone could do one for me or just give me some pointers.,

cheers

P.S sorry if its in wrong forum

Find a hard wall/door/rock etc and smack your head into it, This should stop you thinking about sticking a cr@ppy bodykit on your car, The money can be better spent, trust me,

im getting a new set of alloys for it which i have the money for, i can afford lowering springs already just waiting on new alloys.

so the next step is a kit for it and i like these 2 and i dont wanna spend like £600-£1000 for a realy nice kit, im happy with either of those 2

you must be a chav if you want to go pikey style on a body kit..

do you really want your car looking like a shed and ending up on barry boys?

if you're going to stick a chav kit on your car, at least do it properly

Just dont bother, if ya really really really need to stick a kit on just stick a gsi one on, cant go wrong then, and please dont say every1 has a gsi kit, if ur doin things to be diff from every1 else then u are most deffo gonna fail big time, tried and tested is the way forward, if every1 does it then it must be good, just sit it on some nice wheels and lower it, you will have nice tidy car that will sell easy when your insurance goes down enough so ya can buy a 1.6 scooby and some sti badges

mate, honestly you'll regret spending the money on a kit in the future. Save the money you would spend on chavving up your motor and buy somethin decent and fast, like a 106 gti or something. Ive been there and spent about 7-10k on my corsa and now i look back and think ''what a f*cking waste of money''. Could of had a deposit down on an astra VXR with that cash.
