Hey guys, as some of you know i put my car on piston heads a few weeks back when it was doing my head in lol. I had quite a bit of interest offering p/x etc but wasnt interested.
I then pretty much forgot about the add until i got an email from a lad the other day.
Hes saying he will give me what i put it up for (£4500). Hes 16 and hasnt passed his test yet. He will be doing an intensive course.
I know this seems like i am being a little girl but now i have someone offering me the money i dont want to sell it. I have just started powdercoating everything i can underneath and want to either want to XE or LET it before i sell (my initial plan was to get everything sorted and leave the engine til last due to insurance)
I know if i sell it later on though i will never get £4500.
What do i do?
thanks

Keep it, you'l always regret selling it, especially to some 16 year old thats going to rag the tits off it when he passes!
£4500 is a pretty good price though, depends if you can come to terms with not finishing it and seeing someone else driving it about shows / cruises etc.

Do what you want to do, if you want to keep it then keep it.
If we all done the sensible thing and sold up just because we think we should for one reason or another (age, money spent, the old "its just a corsa") then there would be no fun for us enthusiasts ! Imagine no mint let'd novas or no minted up S1 RST's

yer, thats whats putting me off more than anything mate......even though its not fast as it is you have to be really careful which roads you take it down due to it being so low at the front. For all the time and money i have spent it would be easy for a 17 year old just passed test kid to fuck it up

Sell it mate. You've done everything you can to the car looks wise, the only thing lacking is the engine really. £4.5k is a really good price considering, so jump at the chance!

Id personally sell it, if he is true to his word of 4.5k at the ripe old age of 16 plus getting insured? not likely i dont think.
Youll regret selling it, but cant be helped.

dont take this nasty, i like your car but cars like this bodykit, full blown show cars are slowly going out of fashion, if someone has offered you the money for it i would take it, perhaps if you want a XE/Let corsa that much why not buy a decent corsa and smooth it, by the time you come to sell your new car then it will also be worth some money because it will be "in fashion".
Is my opinion.

Sell it.
You've had your enjoyment, who gives a fuck if the lad ruins it? it's not your problem anymore, you'll have more money for it that you'd get anywhere else.
Sell sell sell.
