 I got my 360 back from microsoft today and it is a replacement console rather than mine repaired.
I checked the manufacture date and it is a May 2006 model. I know that it will be a refurb one but will it be an updated one with the new heat sync etc.
None of it means a lot to me tbh but from what i have read the newer heat sync and modes have made them more reliable?
Just thought i'd ask as i cant try it until i get home!!

PLayed on it last night for a bit and all was fine.
Was quieter than my old one and seemed a LOT cooler when i finished playing!!
Now i just need to buy some new games!!

Mine was fine for ages then started freezing during my second playthrough of Bioshock, now it freezes after 5 mins of anything and gives me the 3 red lights every other time. it's the first console I've owned to fail on me.
bastarding Microsoft.
